The computer center was established in late 1997 to computerize all university activities, develop the university information systems used at that time and prepare the plans to construct the University computer network. The center contains five main departments:

        1- The Department of Systems' Programming and Development
        2- The Networking Department
        3- The Systems' Engineering Department
        4- The Maintenance Department
        5- The Communication Department.
